Wii console is 1 year old, plays all our games fine, other than Band Hero. It played Band Hero fine for about 3 weeks then came the freezing problems, The Audio seems fine, but the picture freezes intermitantly (about 5 times per song). I have had the Disk replaced, replaced all batteries in all remotes and checked wires and conections.
As Band Hero seems to be a fast processing game, ie sound and communication etc, do you think this freezing problem could be the start of more things to come.

We had the same problem with Band Hero on the wii that we received 2 days ago. I just connected the wii to the internet today and updated it. We played the same songs with the same settings and did not see any pauses. So far so good.
It depends on which version of Rock band you are playing, Rock band 1 will not work with Guitar Hero guitars at all, but Rock Band 2 on the wii will except them. and for the microphone you have to have a seperate wiimote sync'd up tho count as the controller for the the game to recognize the mic.
