Who ever told you that you cannot take out an ink cartridge and put it back is an idiot to say the least, I bet its your "ink man". Of couse you can take out your ink cartridge and put it back. Mind you the head of the cartridge might be faulty, take it back to the person who sold it to you and get it replaced. If it is a genuine cartrige Canon will replace it for him.

Hi, does your printer have enough ink? If enough still blink. need to down load a reseter from canon web site inquire if they have free download printer reseter.

Error 6000 tells you that the paper feed roller is not turning, check for any foreign oblects in the paper path, a flashlight and small mirror is the best way to look.
