Wifi typically operates in the 2.412Ghz - 2.472 Ghz depending on the channel selected. ideally the Wifi modem/router and the DECT phone should be operating in completely different bandwidths.

If your DECT phone is cutting off your Wifi wireless connection, then they must me operating in similar/same range: you need to change either your Wifi or DECT frequency 'channel' to minimize this interference.
Also make sure that there is a least 3 meters between the DECT base station and your Wifi modem/router to eliminate Transceivers static RF/EMF interference.

Try moving closer to the router and see if it cuts out. If it stays connected you probably need a wireless adapter that can give you a stronger signal. You can purchase a usb wireless adapter for under $30 that will give you a strong signal and good connectivity at www.tigerdirect.com

I forgot the password to my phone. When I cut it on it ask's for it.
Take it to your Wireless provider. They can reset iot to a default password and you can start over. Take your paid bill with you to speed tha process.

Losing connection lately, and no caller ID??
Hello Kimberlynbil,

You actually have two problems here, one can be solved (but it's hard) the other might not be able to be solved at all.

First the hard (cost wise) to solve problem: Caller ID
What you can do is get a wireless phone that works in the 5 GHz range.

Now for the second problem which is why I suggested the solution to the second problem: Router cuts off phone and phone cuts off router.

This occurs because the router (wireless) and the phone wireless are using the same frequency spectrum 2.4 - 2.5 GHz. when the phone tries to communicate with the hand set the router sees this as an interference and ups its power slightly and this drops the phone call on the first ring which consequentially is the ring on which the data for caller id travels. once the phone senses the interference from the router it up is power slightly and then "steps on the router's transmission cutting off your wireless connection to your PC. So the phone and the computer are off line until one of them stops transmitting.
