My Brother HL 1440 is printing too light. How do I darken the print?
Toner and Ink are new enough, factory original, etc. My question more precisely is:
Is there a way to adjust print quality from lighter to darker with this printer? If so, how do you do it?
Thanks,
HT
This site becomes worthless when people post marketing instead of answers. "it's in the manual" click here to buy or "just call our pay for service" are NOT solutions. Odds are these places do not even have or know the answer. This is *****, stop allowing these scammers to post that garbage. Answer the questions or do not post.
Go to Printer and Faxes and select the properties button, then select the maximum dpi in the Advanced tab. You will get the best quality Print
For sure u can increase the darkness and there are settings to increase but u need to browse through the menu to locate the darkness increasing options. The mannual should definitely help.
Thanks

I have combed the manual for directions about how to adjust printer density, and I cannot find them anywhere. Your answer was no help whatsoever. So I will ask again:
How do I physically adjust my Brother HL 1440 printer so that it will print darker?
Thanks again,,
