Mine got wet a long time ago and worked fine until today when it wouldn't charge. It is completely dead and only blinks the charging symbol every 30 seconds or so. Do they charge you if it has gotten wet to fix it?Mine got wet a long time ago and worked fine until today when it wouldn't charge. I ran around in the rain one day with my phone in my pocket. I took the SIM card and the battery out for a day because it wouldn't turn on. The next day, I put the SIM card and the battery back in and charged it. The front touch-pad doesn't work, it won't vibrate, and soon i started to have to hold the charger a certain way in the phone so it would charge. Now, it won't charge no matter which way I twist the charger. I even tried a new charger and it didn't work.I ran around in the rain one day with my phone in my pocket. It's me again (helpmeinAR). I took it to a store but once we opened the back the tech person said it had gotten wet. They could tell because the tab had changed from white to red. UGH! The telephone still works but I just can't get a charge.

POWER SUPPLY & BATTERY PROBLEM If thecell phone battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out.Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles andwill lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR Thebattery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the batterydrops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to anunacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.ORThe charge adapter is faulty. Test the voltage on the adapter plug with a multi-meter, the voltage should be slightly higher than the voltage on the label on the charge adapter.

I have the same problem of late. Happens with my new battery (from Samsung) and old one that still works. Am waiting for response from samsung. In the mean time my only solution is to remoce the battery and leave it for a couple of hours then the phone does boot up normally.
