I can't put music onto my MP4 player

Hi there,
I have just purchased an MP4 player, and can't figure out how to put music (songs) on it. Can I do it through iTunes? It won't open up with iTunes.
On the fron of the user manual, it says 'User Manual MP4 Digitrl Player' ...not sure what Digitrl means??
In the manual, it doesn't say anywhere how to work the player or hw to put files onto it.
It does say on the box that it is MP4/5 MPEG Layer3.
Not sure what that means either.
It has a Mini-SD Slot...is that for a memory card thing? Would it work if I put music onto a memory card and plugged that in?

make sure that the song location is perfect..before copying it in to your MP4, Just play it in your computer and when it plays only copy to the player..ok though it is asking about extension...just format it once and copy the songs..it will work on...ok

there should be an optioon for changing text in the menu but im assuming that you cant read it ... so lets try this method goto the manufaturers website and download the software and the latest firmware and try reflashing the mp3 players software with any luck the default will be english

I have a Craig mp4 player and when I try to sync music onto it some of the songs say " Did not fit on device" Why?? And what can I do to change it?

This is because the songs literally cannot fit onto your player. Songs, like all files, take up a certain amount of digital space. Craig MP4 players generally are small in space, usually ranging from 1-4GBs, which will not get you far if you have a lot of songs. The only real solutions for this without buying a new MP3/MP4 player is to be more selective with the songs you put onto it. There is not a way to change the amount of songs something can hold, so you just have to put less onto it. Also, If you put videos onto it, get rid of those first because videos take up way more space than songs.

If you want more space, I would recommend a 8GB or 16GB music player, those are satisfactory for most people with a lot of songs.

Also, for now you could try downgrading the audio quality, which will reduce the file size, effectively making more songs able to fit onto your player, but I would not recommend this because it does create a noticeably worse audio quality.

My mp3 on my pantch matrix wont play the music from the external

I had the same problem. I put music on my SD card, and whenever I tried to play it, my phone would reset. I looked through the files, and found that the songs i had bought on iTunes were all in MP4 format. I downloaded the 4media mp4 to mp3 converter, and converted the files. When I put the card back into my phone, the music player worked perfectly!

Note: MP4 files DO NOT have question marks beside them in the phone. The only way you can tell is to highlight the files on a computer. Hope this was a help!!

I cannot download songs from itunes onto my sansa

This can get quite difficult due to copyright problems. Even though you legally purchased the music, ITunes uses something called Digital Rights Management to keep people from doing anything illegal with their products. In addition, the Sansa media player most likely does not support MP4 format, which is what ITunes plays music in. Hopefully, you dont have many songs you are wanting to do this with. You have 1 of 3 options that I know of:

1. -Burn all files onto a blank cd.
-Re-load the files into itunes from the blank cd (Import) (This
strips the DRM and should allow you to put the music into a
foreign player). You will, however, lose the artwork from the
songs and will have to re-name them most likely.
-You will also have duplicate songs in ITunes until you delete
the copy you dont want (or keep it).
2. Purchase a software like noteburner which can strip DRM for
you (does the same as option 1, just cleaner). Costs approx.
$35.00
3. Trade the Sansa for an IPOD.

To add music
plug mp4 into usp, open ''my computer'' then copy and paste your music into mp4 drive, most likly drive E
to add video
install the mp4 software, then use the conversion tool to convert your video files to amv format then just copy and paste into mp4 drive just as you would with your music files.
