Im using my earforce x31 and people that im chatting with say the keep on hearing themselves echo or alot of feed back?

adjust your talkback to just open then set your echo to where you want it. Now turn your amp on and re-adjust both the talkback and the echo . If you have a speaker nearby the radio may be feeding back through it so move it away from your radio . Now start talking with the mic and adjust your echo because you should be able to hear yourself talk through your talkback.

Just replace your talkback cable, and your headset will work good as new. You can purchase the talkback cable here:

I have the same problem with the TB Earforce Bravo headset.

This may be caused by a failing chat-controller cable. A new replacement X31 chat-controller cable should fix the problem. Turtle Beach tech support should be able to help you with that at [email protected].

That sounds like the chat/controller cable might be to loose in the headset jack. Turtle Beach has a newer cable available that should fit tighter. Their email is [email protected].

I have the x31's and it sounds great and everything, but when my friends talk to me they say they can hear themselves talking. any sugestions?

If it is the X31 or X41 you must push the controller cable in until it snaps into place. (Both the headset and controller). If you don't do this, it can cause the mic to malfunction.

just down the mic volume and see als run the sound diagone test.

Your mic still picks up sound when it's unplugged ?
As far as the other prob goes that sounds like howl round ( feedback ), mute the mic when not talking through it or get a mic with a cardioid polar response pattern ( just ask for a cardioid mic, can get a hypercardioid or supercardioid too but a cardioid would be best for your application, point the mic right at your speaking position with the back of the mic pointing at the speakers wich ideally should be behind the mic, this will help cancel out their sound, puting a limiter on the mic and setting it where it only starts picking up sound when you talk directly into it will help too, but the sure fire way to solve the prob is to mute the mic when not speaking into it. What you definitely don't want is an omnidirectional mic, for what you are using a mic for.
