  3. Select [1: degree symbol] [ENTER]
  4. Main screen shows 15 deg
  5. Enter the minutes, ex 25
  6. Press [2nd] [APPS](ANGLE) to access Angle functions

  11. Screen echoes 15 deg 25' 32"
  12. Press [ENTER]

How can such a step by step, complete and exhaustive explanation fail to help you? If you can read and understand what is written you should be ab le to benefit from the answer.
If for some reason you cannot understand, ask for clarifications by posting a command to this thread.

Did you want to convert from D.D to DMS, read the last line of the post.
Did you want to convert from radians to DMS? You cannot! You have to convert from radians to D.D then convert the answer to DMS.
If you want to convert radians to DMS

Set default angle unit to degree (see under [MODE]

Enter the angle value in radians and use the [2nd][APPS][3:raised R] to put the radiand unit and press [ENTER]

The result will be in Decimal degrees.

        Press [SHIFT][ANGLE][4:ToDMS
If that is not what you were trying to do, I am afraid I cannot be of help, because the calculator does not have an application, or a folder called "LOST and FOUND".

Sin 43 degrees 30'

Press SIN 4 3 2ND [ANGLE] 1 3 0 2ND [ANGLE] 2 ENTER

2ND [ANGLE] 1 gives you the degrees symbol, 2ND [ANGLE] 2 gives you the minutes symbol. If you need seconds, use ALPHA ["] (on the + key).

Note that this usually won't give you an EXACT value, but only a ten-digit approximation.

Hey, how do you enter minutes into a TI-84? (I'm doing problems with degrees, and one has minutes added onto the degrees)

The notation for minute is a single quotation, ' . To access this symbol, press the 2nd key, then the Angle key. The single quotation mark is the second option on the menu that comes up after pressing 2nd+Angle.

How do you put degrees mins & secs in a ti 84 plus

The DMS symbols are available under the ANGLE menu
Press [2nd][APPS] (ANGLE)
Under that menu you find the degree and minute symbol. To enter the seconds unit you use the key sequence [ALPHA][+] (")
To enter 1deg 15 minutes and 37 seconds
1 [2nd][APPS] [1:deg] 15[2nd][Apps][2:'] 37 [ALPHA] [+]

To enter a number in decimal degrees (eg 15.37)
  1. If angle unit is the degree just enter 15.37
  2. If angle unit is the radian , you must specify the angle unit as degrees: To enter 15.37 degrees you type 15.37 [2nd][Apps][1: degree] [ENTER].
To convert from DMS to DD and from DD to DMS, you use the sequence [2nd][Apps][4:|=>DMS].

Press the blue "2ND" button in the top left hand corner, then locate the "ANGLE" button, or "APPS" button and press.
It should give you a list of symbols.
The first two are: Degrees and Minutes.
