Hello It is immpossible to set its screen resolution or screen size, without it remote control. Try to get one original remote control, from the authorised service center for Emerson at your town, or buy a universal remote control, which have setup codes for Emerson TV with it. OK.
We would be happy to help you with getting your DISH Networkremote to control your TV. Pressand hold the TV button located on the top of your remote until all mode buttons at the top of the remote light up, then release. Use the number buttons to enter thecodes for your Emerson TV; here some of the codes we currently have: 764, 632, 648, 672, 654, and 516.Press the pound (#) button. To check that the code works try several differentfunctions on the remote to make sure it will properly operate the TV. Keep inmind that some codes may not be compatible with your equipment. If this is thecase, please try the other codes listed for that device until you find one thatis compatible with your equipment.

I got the same TV for my stepdaughter and had the same problem. None of the Emerson codes worked. We use Dish Network but I did the autoscan thing on the remote and found that it was 672 which is listed as a Sylvania. I don't know if it will help in your case but maybe try the Sylvania codes. Good luck.
Might not be the answer your looking for, but I'd look into one of the harmony models from Logitech. They don't use codes and you don't need paper manuals, just the model numbers of the equipment.

My quote: Ask the vendor for a code, if they don't give you return the TV , it lacks technical support... Believe me or else face more problems in the days to come.
