Bought a Micron GX3 off Ebay. One month later, motherboard went out. Seller has it back, and wants to charge me another $60 for motherboard replacement. Is this reasonable? Is this common problem with these laptops?
NO!! That's not reasonable, and the seller knows it!! I'm an avid ebayer and if they're going to try to charge you to make it right, you should file a Paypal or Ebay Resolution claim today, or the seller will draw it out until the 60 days has passed and you'll have no recourse at all. (I assume you've already left positive feedback by now).
If this has been over 60 days, pay him the $60. You can get the labor cheaper, but not with the part included. Pay him through Paypal so you can keep the option of a new claim
