Gestetner printer error sc371

I wonder if you can tell me what error sc371 means on a gestetner dsc38u laser printer

    That is a toner density adjustment error for the yellow developing unit.

    This probably happened when you first turned it on, and the machine detected a problem with that unit.

    Was it asking for toner before this happened?

I have a Gestetner DSc38u and when I print colour I get a 'red'/'pink' line about an inch from the top of each page. Any suggestions?
If the line is only red or pink, it is most likely caused by the magenta PCU. Replace this PCU and your problem will go away.

Occasionally the magenta developer unit can cause a red or pink line, but the problem is more than likely from your magenta PCU. The PCU is easy to replace, and instructions will come in the box if you order an OEM replacement unit.

1. Check if the pressure roller thermistor

is firmly connected and clean it.

2. Replace the fusing unit.

note: check terminals may be durty also

Printing blank page with error message SC322
This is an SC error related to the laser unit.
Switch off and on the printer. If the error still appears, the printer has a defective laser diode or a defective Laser unit.
Please call an engineer to repair your printer.

Color registration
Whenever you change the fuser unit you have to do the fuser registration.You have to use the manual feed tray with A3 or 11x17 paper for this registration.The details should be inside the new fuser box carton.
