My computer shuts down by itself. Have problems restarting or not starting at all. The start button light stays on even after I unplug my computer.

you have sleepsettings set to start button, set it to shut down.

that is a big problem, you need to bring it to computer man or just change an mb

Press power button down for 5seconds until the computer shuts down. Remove power cable, press power button down 10s. Connect cable, try to restart.

Does it restart when it shuts off, or just stays off? If it restarts, then shuts down, then restarts again, it's likely a bad power supply unit.

You need to start up in safe mode you do this by pressing F8 while it is booting up you will then see a screen that says start normal or safe mode pick safe mode if it boots up and it will take a little while then shut down the computer by selecting shut down and then restart this will most likley solve your problem

Not sure but you could even have a virus i would try to redo it back to factory settings if you know how to.

my inspiron 530 giving me trouble. Blue light is on, but the computer goes no where. Try to start by shutting down and restarting but the start sound keeps coming fora long time and nothing happens. So to say having trouble starting and sometimes it shuts down but the blue light stays on. Sometimes I cann't even turn off the computer by pressing blue light - trouble trouble trouble

Check your battery connections. If the terminals are corroded, it's possible that the computer isn't getting enough juice to operate properly which can cause a no-start condition even when everything else is cheking out ok.

u check almost all ....
also check with u r power buton of front panel of pc if this button is get short then it is possible .....please disconnect switch from board & just short with any metal ....if u r pc is not geting shut down please replace rower switch ...
