Hello,
Now before you do anything else, go to Control Panel and then to User Accounts and Put off the User Account Control. Then restart your PC. If the msn is already running, then right-click the taskbar and go to 'Task Manager' and then to processes and look for it there and terminate it. Now go to Program Files and then to 'msn live messenger'. Open the folder and delete as many files as you can (some may not go). Try renaming and changing the extension (e.g take away the .dll extension) of the files that will not delete. The ones that will change, delete them. If you still have some files in there, log off or restart and then go there again and rename the main msn folder itself and delete it. Now go to progams in control panel and try to uninstall it and it will ask if it should be removed from the list since it is not valid anymore. That all, you are done.
Hope this is helpful. All the best.
