Unplug dryer!!

There should be 2 5/16th screws on the bottom panel in front. Then there are 2 more on bottom of top panel. Take off wires to door switch. Take off 4 screws to front bulkhead. Pull it off. Note how belt goes on. Take it off and pull drum.

I would first rotate drum by hand and see where noise is coming from. If inside one of the baffles in drum, you can easily lossen up screws to remove baffle to get things out.

Sdg109wf when running it like rattling sound coming out. what do i\I have to do?

You may have to find a way to identify the location of the sound; type of sound..metal on metal, like something is loose?
The only thing I know that rattles in a dryer is if something got into the baffles/the wings on the inside of the drum.
If this is the case you have to open the top of the drum and unscrew the one baffle that that has something loose in it.

Inglis dryer making thumping sound when drying

is the unit level, open the dryer try moving the drum around, see if the drum loose, there mite something in the machine that got caught on the drum some how and when it goes around it bangs,
you mite try spinning the dryer without turning it on and listen to the drum and see if you can hear any thing hitting the drum or what is make those load sounds. if you cannot turn the drum manually you mite bribe a guy or friend to check it out for a beer or glass of wine, and if they down drink bake some cookies.

I have the GLEQ212ES1 dryer. When it is running. it sounds like something is rubbing against the drum. When you turn it by hand manually, the drum is harder to turn.Could a piece clothing gotten stuck...

Although this is possible, usually one of the wheel bearings may have gotten dry or even is stuck. Inside there are wheels that the drum is steadied by and that rotate with the drum. If it's a year old it should be under warranty and a tech can fix it. If that is a problem, remove the back (after unplugging it) find the wheels and rotate the drum by hand. If a wheel is stuck or dry you will find it. I hope this helps.

Today our dryer quit drying. It hums but is not tumbling.

Dryers are belt driven. Something has locked the drum or motor, and that is why you hear the humming sound. With the dryer turned off, reach inside the drum and try to turn it. It should turn pretty freely. There will always be some drag. If you need a lot of effort to turn the drum, then it is time to investigate what is causing the drag. Probably, something has gotten wedged between the drum and the front wall of the dryer.

If you cannot find anything there, then it could be helpful to remove the outer shell from the dryer and investigate further to find the source of the drag. This requires some mechanical skill, so think carefully if you want to try it or call a service company or simply replace the dryer. A used dryer can cost $100 or less.

Dryer drum stopped rotating, dryer blower continues to work.

The belt probably broke, and coincidentally happened while drying the shoes. The belt is easy to replace. Open the back and you'll probably see the belt laying on the bottom

Drum turns when dryers not running

Does the drum just constantly turn and never stops or does it just take a really long time to stop? If it just takes a long time to stop it sounds like a loose belt. If it just turns and turns and turns something in the control panel isn't telling the motor shut off but with the clunking sound you're hearing I'd guess its the belt.

When the drum gros around, it sounds as if a coin

Hi The noise you are hearing is coming from the baffles inside the drum. These are attatched to the drum with screws from the outside of the drum. Something as gotten inside these baffles and causing the moise.
Remove the front ot top panel (Depending on what model) and take the screws out so the baffle releases.
I hope this helps you. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Dryer is making loud thumping noise.

Take off the back panel of the dryer and look at the motor and belt turning the drum. There may be something caught on the drum and is pinned in place causing the noise. The motor could be loose on the platform and needs to be tightened. It is probably something physical and seen causing the noise.
