Try a different outlet in the wall, it might be the outlet. If it isn't the outlet, maybe it's the power cord. Try to use someone else's PSP charger and see if it works. If it If it's not that, then it's your PSP. If you had it since launch then it will cost $90 to get fixed.

There is still hope, try different chargers, try your charger on another psp. insert a fully charged battery. if all of that fails There may be a physical issue with your dc-jack or logic board. If you want to fix it yourself, You can get the part at psp Repair and there is a guide that shows you how to put in the part at psp Repair Guide.

SOURCE: SONY PSP

What did you do to it before it messed up? It could be what people call 'bricked' and that is hard to fix. You would have to make a special battery called a Pandora's Battery

Psp wont charge or hold a charger

It could be a bad battery or you can check under the psp if you can turn it on and make sure that under Settings > System Settings > USB Charge is set to on. If it is and it isn't charging then it's a bad battery.

My psp wont turn on or charge!!

try to insert its usb and attach it to the ON computer

if it still wont charge, try to borrow psp battery from your friend and test it. if still doesnt work, the unit itself must be the problem..try to look for sony service center near your place,if the psp unit waranty is still valid, they will repair it free.
