After going thru 6 different cd-r/rw, dvd-r disks, i found that i had to convert the downloaded file, convert it into an ISO, save that in a seperate folder then burn the new ISO file onto a disk. I used "ImgBurn" for best results. Previously when inserted into the blu-ray player i would get an "e dsk" error. After inserting the ISO disk it went thru without a hitch, although it does take about 40 mins to complete.
Had the same problem at first. The disk must be burned using an "ISO Image"....if you're using Windows Vista, it uses a different format. Google "Free ISO Image Burner" and download one of the free ISO image burners, if you don't have one. Burn the firmware file you downloaded to a CD as an ISO Image, and it should work.
