I’m a owner of the FAV6800A T/L.If your machine is a FAV6800A or FAV9800A I will try to help you.Which model do you have? I ask this because so many folks post non FAV6800A or FAV9800A machine types in this forum. If it’s the FAV6800A are there any error codes to the LED display. If it is one of those machine types I need the first two digits of your machines serial number located here the number range is 10 thru 17;
Good deal your machine is a Series 11. “”Washer has stopped at 26 min with water in the drum. Will not spin or drain. Just sounds like it starts running then stops and repeats.”” I believe this is the start of a Spin Cycle of that Wash Cycle which Wash Cycle did you have selected? Are there any error codes to the LED display like dC or uC? If you stop that wash cycle with the wet load and do a Spin Only cycle will it complete with no error code? Does the wash tub bang around in Spin Only cycle with the wet clothes load? Standing by for some feedback and I will try to help. Here is the Service Manual and parts look up.Can you let me know if you want to try to DIY the fix? FAV6800A/FAV9800A Service Manual for reference.Sears Parts Direct for reference. Rich
the reason the clothes are wet is the washer is not shifting to high spin,does the washer have a speed switch(normal wash spin,high wash spin)if its not the speed switch than the clutch is bad,how old is the washer?mike
If your clothes are wet after the wash it is quite possible your outlet filter is blocked. Check this out and clean out. This requires periodic cleaning, according to your usage. Refer to your user manual.
Clean out your outlet filter; this is to be done regularly once a month, depending on your usage.
Re your tablets not disolving, try using front loading washing powder. Also refer to your manual..........
