My MSI AE2220-26SUS 21.5 in computer appears to have wiped out windows 7. I can turn it on but when it starts to boot up, I get enter disc and reboot, is the problem in the bios settings?

Probably your bios settings, check your power and data cables are connected properly, and change them if necesary, if this dont work, boot from a live cd OS or hirens boot to check if there is a hdd with info on it... may be a hdd or win failure too.

Controller MSI K8N Neo4 does not work

SHUT DOWN COMPUTER AND CLEAR CMOS BY RESETTING JUMPER ON MOTHERBOARD AND THEN RETURN JUMPER TO NORMAL POSITION OR USE RESET BUTTON. UNPLUG ALL HDD SATA CONNECTORS FROM HDD. BOOT COMPUTER TO BIOS. MAKE SURE ENABLE ALL SATA IS ENABLED, PRESS F10 AND EXIT.YOU WANT TO SHUT DOWN AGAIN. NOW REATTACH SATA HDD AND CONNECTORS AND BOOT TO BIOS AGAIN. NOW HIT F10 AND LET COMPUTER RESTART AND LOAD INTO THE OS. LOGON AND CHECK DEVICE MANAGER..SHOULD BE THERE. IF NOT CHECK MOTHER BOARD WEB SITE FOR BIOS UPDATE. IF BIOS UPDATE DOESN'T DO THE TRICK, SHUT DOWN AND DISCONNECT THE IDE DRIVE, UNLESS IT CONTAINS YOUR OS. TRY BOOTING TO BIOS AND CHANGE ORDER OF 1ST BOOT OPTIONS, HIT F10 AND EXIT AND ALLOW COMPUTER TO BOOT TO OS, THEN LOGON, GO TO DEVICE MANAGER AND REMOVE IDE AND RESTART, ONLY IF THIS HDD DOES NOT CONTAIN OS. YOU SHOULD BE FINE AFTER THIS, OR INSTALL YOUR OS ON THE SATA HDD.

You are correct your bios needs to be upgraded
Go to Toshiba's site and, download the upgrade and, follow the directions to install it then;reboot.
Do not unplug or, turn off the computer during the upgrade for any reason and, have the battery installed and, fully charged when you start the procedure.

Cant boot

In your bios you should be able to change your settings for the hdd. Make sure everything in bios matches your hdd & then save changes & reboot. Hopefully that will allow you to enter windows.

Cant get to home page

Your laptop doesn't recognised hdd.
You should go to bios to see if your hdd is there.
if you don't see your hdd in the bios, most of the time is harddrive problem (dead).
In this case, you can replace your hdd.
but if you see your hdd and you get PXE-E61 error message, your OS might be corrupted.
