Question about Smeg SUK62CMX5 Dual Fuel (Electric and Gas) Kitchen Range
Hi. The transfers on the front of my cooker have started to come off, including the tamperature marks for the oven and grill. Is it possible to get replacement transfers?
I FOUND THIS ON ANOTHER SITE, BUT HAVE NOT YET TRIED IT.
Had the same problem - you can't buy transfers from the oven maker but you can make your own - I bought laser Water Transfer decal paper (£13 for 10 sheets of A4 clear) - made up my dials in powerpoint (test print them for fit, layout etc on normal paper) then printed them on the decal paper and put them on the facia (ensure clean before application). A good start is to scan your instruction book (it has the original dials in it). Let them dry fully. Mine went on 8 months ago and still there (onto stainless steel). A little work and only a tenner in cost ... forget getting new facia that's probably what they want :)

The best solution is to go to ovenlettering I had a set of decals for my smeg range made, easy to apply and because they are vinyl they done rub off when you clean them
