When i turn on my BenQ joybee 110 it says 'flash error'. Its seems like all my settings have been resetted. The language is chinese/japanese... And what about that 'flash error'??? What can I do to fix this problem? Thanks

At the bottom of your Facebook page, click the link next to the 2014 Facebook copyright then select the desired language.

Press MENU button then choose System Setup. This is the one before the last item in the menu. Then scroll down to the one before the last possibility. This should be the language. To choose this press PLAY/PAUSE button and you can see 3 languages and the last one is the English.
Now simply press PLAY/PAUSE when you are one the last position.

Hello, That's the same camera I have! I can help you. Follow this sequence to reset all the settings so that the language becomes English:

1. Turn cam on
2. Press the "menu" button.
3. Press right directional key (marked with the flash symbol)
4. Press down directional key to go to the bottommost entry of the menu (which is the reset all option)
5. Press the "set" key (in the middle of the directional keys)
6. Press the up directional key and then "set" to confirm.

There. you're done. Now you don't have to learn Chinese to use your cam!
EXTRA NOTE: BTW just in case this applies to you too; When I first got my cam, I had trouble finding the timer option to time the shutter (1-2-3 click!) It's called "drive mode" in this camera.

find settings (chinese = ??, japanese = ??)... then go to languages (chinese = ??, japanese = ??)... and change it back to English (Chinese ??, Japanese ??)
