Auto Setup automatically searches for the right code for your DVD player. For the most popular DVD player models, Auto-Setup takes a few minutes or less, however, less-common models can take much longer or this method may not work at all.

  1. Find the Auto-Setup instruction page in the on-screen Setup Guide. Your DVD player must be on the Auto-Setup instructions for this method to work properly.

  1. Engage Auto-Setup mode: Hold down the Red button until the setup light turns off. Continue holding the Red button and press the Yellow button three times, then release both buttons. If you’ve done this correctly the light will turn back on and remain on until setup mode is exited. When the setup light remains on, the controller is in setup mode.

  1. Wait for a message from your DVD player. Even though you can’t see anything happening, the controller is actually loading and testing various codes. When the right code is found, your DVD player will tell you to press the Home button. If your player doesn’t respond within about 10 Minutes or the time on the estimate chart, press the Home button to exit this method, and use the Direct Entry method instead.

  1. When the DVD player instructs you to press the Home button, be sure to do so before the onscreen timer runs out. If you miss pressing the Home button before the timer runs out, go ahead and wait until a message from the DVD tells you what to do. If you have not yet pressed the Home button, the DVD will instruct you to press the Back button to back up to the code you missed.

I have lost the manual and need to program a different DVD player, how can I find the codes for it?

Setup instructions are on every ZOOOOS DVD. Insert the DVD in your player, press "menu" on your regular controller to access the instructions. Pretty cool, huh? - the inventor

We thought we had it working. But when you push the Zoooos controller it will show a number in the left hand upper corner (like, 5, 6, 7) and not move you into the next screen. Do we need to reprogram...

The controller is a universal remote. Complete instructions for setting it up to control various DVD player models are accessible at the beginning of every ZOOOOS DVD.
When the controller was manufactured it was compatible with virtually every model of DVD player, however, some newer models may not be compatible.
It's normal for some players to flash numbers on the screen while operating the controller. It does not affect performance.

Need BASE dvd player codes for zoooo play and learn system.

Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. The site has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. The site has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Set-up code list to many brand remote controls also is given. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily.

Programming Notes
• If your device does not respond to the remote after trying all codes listed or your brand is not listed in the code list, use the Auto Code Search method to program your remote.
• Sometimes the first code that "works" with your device may operate only a few functions of your device. There may be another code in the code list that performs more functions. Try other codes from the code list for more functionality.
This is a trial and error procedure; and quiet time consuming. You might have to check different codes said for your device.
