Igsignia NS-A2111 will not play cds - Audio Players & Recorders

if cleaning did not work .blow out with a little air . try other cds run your cleaner again .make sure to get a good cleaning cd .if cleaner cd seems to play after a little air blow let your cleaning cd play for about a half hour....

This Blu-ray player will not read HD (high density) DVDs. The format is not the same as a blu-ray. You would need an HD DVD player. (if you can find one - they are rare.) If you are having trouble reading specific Blu-ray discs, you should check if there is a firmware update for the unit on the Insignia site. Start at http://insigniaproducts.com/ and look for downloads for the NS-WBRDVD2.

The NS-WBRDVD2 reads Blu-rays, DVD-ROM, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-R, DVD+R, CD-R, CDDA (audio CDs), CD-RW, MP3, MPEG4, JPEG. Discs burned on DVD recorders/computers must be finalized to be played on the unit.

Yes, this model will play audio CDs as well as DVDs. You can download the manual here if you need a copy, which explains all the functions.

Read your Manual. It might not play Reg,CDs or it will only play MP3s. Hope this Helps

If you've also power-cycled the unit (turn it off and unplug it for several minutes) and the problem still persists, repairs will likely be required. Service can be obtained by carrying the unit in to the place of purchase.

Cant help with diagrams but have you tried "freeze". Its a spray that cools components to see if they are breaking down thermally which does sound a little like it could be possibly. The cold component then rights itself when sprayed for a little while till it get warms again.

That's what stinks with this Best Buy brand. You could try to do it with WMP.

I had the same problem, its an easy fix if you can solder, and costs less than five dollars in parts, The two filter caps in the audio power supply are not soldered very well so vibrations cause them to break loose from the board. 

you can do one of two things. rename the songs with starting with 1, 2, 3, etc. Or make playlists and use them. The playlists play in the order the song is added to it.
