Question about Voyetra Turtle Beach Ear Force X1 Headset
Mic works fine but earphones done work at all
Try using the headset to listen to your iPod or MP3 player. Plug the USB plug into your Xbox or PC USB port, then plug the X1 green plug into the Headphones jack on your iPod or MP3 player. Make sure the master volume is up on the X1 (inline volume control box). Play a tune on the MP3 player. Do you hear the music? If yes, the X1 is fine. If no, you should contact Turtle Beach tech support and tell them about it.

Do you have the red/white RCA jacks connected to the Xbox red/white RCA jacks? Is the LED light on the X1 amplifier on? (The USB must be plugged in).
To test to ensure your headset is working, try connecting it to a PC or laptop and listen to some music. Just plug in the green X1 plug to your PC/laptop headphone/speaker output. (The output should be a green jack). Also plug in the USB connector for power. Does that work?
