I have an ILO-26HD TV purchased several months ago. So far, the only problem I am experiencing is that when watching digital channels (mostly only the locals) the video and audio signals are not synced. I feel as though I am watching some real low budget Japanese Martial Arts movie...LOL I have looked under all the headings I can access on the TV menu, and my Dish menu, but am not able to locate anything that may allow an adjustment to this. On another note, I have another brand name hdtv using same digital provider that I have not had any problems with audio and video syncing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
When I am watching tv a black box appears with writing in it. Direct TV said it was the close caption. When I go to menu the remote will not work.

The audio and video of my ILO-26HD does not match up when using an HDMI cable. The audio is to slow for the video on screen, I am hooked up with an XBOX 360 running 720p. The audio and video does work fine however when using component cables, It syncs then. The audio and video of my ILO-26HD does not match up when using an HDMI cable. Be sure that the TV code is correctly program on the remote control, you can find other brand of universal remote control but before buying be sure your TV brand is included there. I hope I help you friend.
most of the new TV's use a SCAT plug to allow connection of a PC or laptop. I doubt that this TV has that sophistication. The ISB will not do it and neither will S VIDEO.
As for the cable you could try a male to male plug to mnake a coaxial connection. These TV's were made to a price for walmart and you got what you paid for which was a cheap TV. There was no warranty offered by Walmart for these either

These is known to be a problematic brand for TVs. I believe the name has actually been withdrawn because it has such a bad reputation. If you cannot get satisfaction at the above contact. I would ask them how to be a party to a proposed class action lawsuit (that should get you to a supervisor, at least).
ILO sets seem to have a "half-life" of a year. The warranty from Walmart is only six months.
the manufactured should be on the back of the tv- i have an ilo 27 flat lcd hdtv the name on the back is SUPERIOR ENTERPRISES 5900 CANOGA AVE WOODLAND HILLS CA 91367
Hey culdera, Since iLO is a Wal-Mart private label brand, you will most likely need to speak with a representative at your local Wal-Mart store or call their toll-free support hotline at 800-WALMART (800-925-6278) for more information. Please keep in mind that replacement parts and manuals may not necessarily be available, as private label brands are often created for retailers by several different manufacturers. Hope this helps you out. Sincerely, Aaron Go Ahead. Use Us.
Hi! Yes, this is a very common problem for this model of ILO TV. It is due to a problem on the controller board inside the set. I actually bought one of these with the idea of fixing it, and it took 6 months of research to figure out the problem. If you are technically capable, or if you have a TV shop in your area where the set could be disassembled, I might be able to help. Let me know.
Call Dish Network at 1-888-284-7116 and they can walk you through the remote program setup. Or you can look in the instruction manual for code searching using the DN remote control.
