Panel shows different language

On Control Panel-Touch Screen, Down right Side there is a tab to change the languages/Language Setting.
Even if it is Chinese or Portuguese language showing just click on the down right side button on touch screen, a new menu will appear. From there you can select your desired language.English-Chinese etc.

go to settings select language ,then scroll down to English .

Turn on the printer.
"Ready" on panel display.
Press "Menu" key.
Press the Up or Down Arrow key to show "Language."

Press the Enter key. "Language: *German" shows on the panel display.
Press the Up or Down Arrow key to get the language you want.
Press the Enter key. "Menu" shows on the panel display.
Press the On Line key. "Ready" shows on the panel display.

The instruction below will help you put back the display language you desire for your printer. You may use the procedure below to print out reports or to show messages on the all-in-one control panel. Here's how:

1.First you need to press MENU.
2.Then, select SYSTEM SET UP.
3.Afterward, select LANGUAGE.
4.Now, choose the language that you prefer. In your case, ENGLISH.
5.You have to SAVE your settings.
6.Finally, wait until your system automatically restarts.

Not even a small idea to show u that its languge setting

To change the language on the LCD screen of the X125 printer, please follow the steps given below:
1. With the printer power on, press the "Setup" button.
2. Then press the "Menu" button until "Set Language" shows on the screen.
3. Press the "Options" button until you see "English."
4. Press the "Start" button once and let us know the results.

Go to Start > Control Panel > Regional and Language Options.

Under regional options and advanced make sure you have English seleted.

I had the same problem. I finally totally uninstalled the printer from my computer, downloaded the "new" software from the Brother site, and reinstalled it. This is what finally worked for me (WinXPProf.).

I have a CX6400 and I don't know if this helps but it's worth a try:
Press the setup button and the screen starts with #1 option. by pressing the top lit green button to the left of the screen, it will go through the remaining options with LANGUAGE as option #7 saying to press the color button. Press the color button, and the bottom right portion of the screen shows the language options, starting with English. By pressing the lower lit green button to the right of the screen it goes through the languages that you have to choose from. When you see the language you want displayed on the screen then you press a button under the screen that says OK. Hope this helps!
