Dont know how to set up the am loop antenna for sony ICF-CS 10iP

a sony pocket radio is not a computer. get the manual?

THE BATTERIES ARE BAD. AA: 2 ×1,5 / 3 Volt together.

OR WORSE. DROWNED.

its old and listed in to Radio Museum

it needs batteries at 3v total

The dream machine has a ferrite bar antenna built in to it for AM and the power cord functions as an FM antenna.

You really don't want to fiddle with the antenna but can adjust reception by moving the unti away from any large metal objects near it.

You should have the power cord fully extended and not looped up into a bundle.

You also want to distance it from any sources of interference like electric motors or other sources of radio interference.

By "large" I mean anything the size of a microwave oven and larger.

With the radio off, press and hold the ENTER (time set) Key DOWN. On the right side, there are 4 buttons with arrows on them. The inside ones set the timezone that you are in, the outside two will set the time. I just checked this on my ICF-SW100 and it works for me.

Have you tried going to the Sony web site and asking them? If that doesn't work I have been able to find antennas on old boom boxes that were the same size.

Do you need the AM loop antenna or the FM antenna? The loop antenna is available for $11.27 from http://www.partstore.com/Model/Sony/Sony/CMTFX300I.aspx . This is part number, 1-754-399-11 . The antenna is also available from Amazon.com for $15. I do not know of any sources for the FM antenna.

The electrical cord acts as an antennae for this radio. Uncoiling the cord will give the best reception for FM. Rotating the radio (and built in ferrite bar antennae) will give the best reception for AM listening.

You can try it in ebay or some thing.
