Hi there... You may try to : shut the PC down..in the front of the CD drive there is a little hole..usually on the right, get a large paper clip, straighten it and slowly inset it in the hole..make sure it is going in straight. Push of the paper clip and the door should open. Note: when you turn the pc back on the door will close. Make sure there is nothing stuck..like a cd. Hope this helps, Squipps

I had a similar problem. I discovered the illuminated door bell switch I used as the inside door control would activate whenever the wall on which it was mounted had a heavy vibration from door slamming or thunder. Could this be your problem too?
had that problem on motor cycle ,tore it a part and couldnt find anything then i started it an the starter button stuck halfway pulled out an everything worked
My guess is that the doo switch is faulty or stuck open so the relay never closes to power the auger. I would check the door switch first then the auger motor.
Your open close knob probably needs to be adjusted. If the door is closed, you need to take the closer in one hand, and turn the open close knob toward open until it opens. The chain must have jumped over the sprocket. Doo the opposite if the door is staying open.
Unplug washer and remove lower front panel by removing 3 screws on bottom of panel. You will need "torx" or nutdriver. Reach in and up on right side of inside of washer, right were the door latch is, at the bottom of the mechanism is a manual release. Pull downward on the release and the door should open.
On the side of the motor unit you will find the 'down limit' adjustment. Turn this in the opposite direction of the arrow printed on the cover. It may help if you remove the cover and you can see the limit adjustment assembly. It will help you understand the problem.
Turn off the power.Open the front door. Remove the door screws from both sides of the door opening. The front panel will pull off. Remove other screws on the cabinet frame to access the drum and other internal components.
