Driver for lexmark z602 (vista)

I recommend you use the driver available for download in the Lexmark website. There is no Windows 7 64-bit OS driver, however, the Vista 64-bit OS driver is compatible with it. Lexmark Z600 series (Z601, Z602, Z603, Z604 and Z605) uses the same driver. Here's the link to download the software. http://bit.ly/b8juwC. Download and install the software. Hope this helps. Does the computer have Windows Vista on it?

If so, that is correct. Lexmark does not have a Vista driver for the X63.

However, many people with Lexmarks (and other non-Vista supported models) have had success using Windows 2000 drivers on computers with Vista installed.

If you have Windows XP installed, or if you have Vista and want to try the Windows 2000 driver, they can both be downloaded here, directly from Lexmark:

Be sure to UNPLUG the printer from the PC before installing the software. ONLY plug it in once the on-screen instructions tell you to do so.

You need to download the Windows Vista compatible driver for your X1185 at
http://downloads.lexmark.com/cgi-perl/downloads.cgi?lxkprod=Lexmark+X1185

Be sure to select the correct Windows Vista driver (there is one for Vista (x64) and one for Vista (which is the 32-bit version and the one you are most likely running on your PC)

yes you can download the driver for your printer from the lexmark website

Enter x427 into the search field and select the lexmark x4270 when the search suggests it.

After this select the vista from the list of systems and download and install the drivers.

I found the drivers by going to My Computer > OS (C:) > Drivers > Printer > deleted the file folder.
I then unpluged the printer, reinstalled the driver from the Lexmark Site (http://downloads.lexmark.com/perl/downloads/downloads.cgi#), restarted and it worked.
