Won't go to music menu and says:File not found

You don't have a codec for that particular format. Try changing the music file to a different format, like MP3.
A program like "Any Audio Convertor" should do that for you in Windows. There are many free windows apps that convert formats of music files. Or do a search for an Audio convertor on the Google play store, there are plenty of free apps. Typically music apps won't display music files they cann't play, it just saves clutter on their play list.

press ctrl+alt+del you get task manager. in that file menu->new task(run)-> type explorer enter. everything will work normally. PLS REPLY OR COMMENT. THANKS

well the usb cable could be corrupted have you tried it with another cable possible if u happen to have on lying around

I'm having the same problem. Was hoping for some help on here, but it looks like it's the phone. Nothing is wrong with the music, its MP3 a supported format on this phone. I've played these same tracks on my PS3 through the card. I've reformatted my memory card like others have said. Everything on my memory card is listed, but when i go to play a song on the phone i get a "file not found" message. This happens on both the music player and the audio & ringtones menu. Very frustrating, I'm going back into AT&T to see if they can help.

check drivers, make sure ur music program is exporting files ina format ur device reads, if everything is uptodate and its in formats ur device reads, and still isnt working, then idk, but try these first

I solved the problem on my win98se OS by using the drivers from GPX from another mp3 player ( MW6347DT ). Before, it did not find the pci to usb drivers, etc. Now, all the proper drivers are being found.

verify the files using your pc. try placing them on the root (no folders).

I had a problem with the Mp3, He was hangup while charging the battery from the USB, I disconnected the USB but It still continuated with the screen charging even if this was disconnected, and I couldn`t hear nothing, so I decided to look in the faq of Samsung, It is Ussless like most of the official pages, how to plug, how to listem the music, but nothing nothing information about how to manage my problem,. So I decided to look in google, and the solutioin was here, press the rec button and the menu button at same time, and magicaly the device was unbloqued. Thanks a lot swamped69 for the solution
