If it was locked and you donot know the password then the only thing you can do is restore it using dfu mode hold both power and home button until it turns off and restart and show you to connect to iTunescode for ipod touch - 2_bing.gif. Then restore it. Let me know what happened.

Enter passcode screen is on, unable to enter code, appears frozen

you can fix it by restoring it in iTunes.
Here is a way to put it in recovery mode.
Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman";} Iphone and itouch dfu mode

Plug the usb cable into the Ipod and NOT into the computer.
Hold the Home Button down for 5 second (do not release it)
Then Press and hold the Power Button for approx 10 secs (count them out)
Your iPod will reboot.
Release the power button and continue holding the Home button for an additional 27secs.
You may see the screen go blank or not.
Plug the USB end into the computer with itunes open.
Your ipod will mount in recovery mode.
Restore it and Your all set.

My screen touch wont enter the code i havent forgot da code but when i press it da number turns blue but doesent enter da box

Hi there,

Try connecting the ipod to itunes, and setting restore. This will erase the code on the ipod touch. The ipod will allow this to happen with the last computer to sync to it.

Also make sure you have the latest itunes version installed. www.apple.com/itunes

and also that you have the latest ipod firmware. This can be done by selecting "check for update" from the ipod page in itunes.

Hope this helps,

Nathan.

Ipod is disabled

From what I gather in your post, it seems that your touch has had too many wrong attempts at the passcode, so now it won't even give you the number pad to try again.

It is now necessary to restore the touch on the computer that was used to originally sync it, so you can reset your passcode and resync the data.

If you use a different computer, you will be able to unlock and remove passcode, but you will lose your data.

The link below will explain what I said a little better, and at the end of the article there is another link on how to actually update and restore your touch.

Good luck!
