TV fell face down but not damaged, no display, does not power

If pulled, yanked, jerked by the cord, the AC adapter will lose/damage the connection. You didn't post the Make, Model of laptop. You most likely need to replace the AC adapter. If you fell comfortable opening the laptop you can get the part, if no, take it to a Qualified Computer Tech.

In my experience, there will be damage to the main pcboard, usually under the transformer.
If you are lucky you can find all of the broken track and remake the track.

Tv fell off about 3 feets or more?Yes,turn on the tv see if u getting any power to the unit?Might have broken main PCB board too.If unit still have power,check see if tv get statics screen have colors shaded in red or mutiples colors,mean the tv CRT(tv tube) yoke is dead and damages scrambles radiation.Or the tv getting power but have high pitch sqeeling noises or rattles noises,tv have the CRT-(tv tube) is crack by the neck or broken totally.CRT have damages problems or dead tv is worthless,beacause of CRT(tv tube) is dead,not fixable even that antena connector input is replaced.

Your thought that the end of something fell into the lighter fried something is likely true. I can't imagine that the wire could be fried and the fuse is still good. check to see if the fuse you checked was the right one. If it was and it is good, a wire on the back of the receptacle may have come lose. The end that fell into the receptacle, did it get hot or damaged? That could be a clue as to if the receptacle was shorted when the end fell into it or if not, then look for a lose connection.

you may have a bad flexible cable that goes from the face to the main pc board. there are two cables, one that goes to the upper face and another that goes to the lower fac. typically the one that goes bad is the lower.

Check for PCB damages,check for CRT damage.Not worth reparing or not repair able becuce of to much dmages.

sounds like a degaussing (magnetizing) problem.could be that the posistor inside the TV set got loose when the tv fell down. If you have experience soldering electronic components, you should be able to fix it by re-soldering. Otherwise, call a tv tech to do it.

I don't think so, the motor is a sensitive part and probably is too damaged.

your unit experienced shock. due to fragility of the phone, your LCD might be broken, if not, the LCD connector needs to be refitted to its slot. If the problem is still the same, you need to replace ur LCD.
