Not good news for you;
Mitsubishi TV assembly
Since this seems to be an entire board, I suspect that it may have failed and some devices on it may be proprietary making the repair impossible.  The 'chip foundries' are capable of designing a complex integrated circuit in weeks and then giving it a unique part number that belongs exclusively to the company that designed it, making the part impossible to buy from a normal supplier.
If anyone is interested and junking this set due to the high assembly replacement cost, I'd like to get one of these to see if the board is repairable. It may have inexpensive components that have failed and can be easily replaced.  I have the equipment and knowledge that would allow me to either repair it or at least judge its repairability. If you are interested, please email me at:
freetekATlycos.com (remove the 'AT' and replace it with the proper symbol.)

How do I know which board is broken

Dont be intimidated. it could be nothing more than a bad capacitor. these are easy to change. capacitors are the round little barrel looking things sticking out from the control boards. when they are bad they look fat and bulged. remove the board replace any bad components and reconect. I know it sounds simple but it just might do the trick.

Possible TV "Chop-Shop"

Hyundai and I would be surprised is Sampo use Samsung parts. They may have mixed and matched compatible parts. The Hyundai I'm working on has almost Samsung everything. I wouldn't worry too much so long as the service place has a good reputation and stands behind their work. They may have replaced a video board that had different spec ratings.
