Forgot my password for my iPhone

If you have a recent back up to itunes with your old password you could reset to that back up. You will lose sum stuff on your phone, but that can be put back on.
Apple's official instructions to restore an iPhone with iTunes are:

Connect your iPhone to your computer backup the iPhone when prompted.
When iOS Setup Assistant asks to set up your iPhone, choose "Restore from iTunes backup."
Select your device in iTunes and the backup with your last password.
You can then get in again with your last password.
Otherwise you would have to do a hard reset, wich will erase everything on your phone.

In order to get back into the phone, you'll have to DFU restore the phone, which means everything that was in the phone will be lost. Hopefully you've backed it up recently. step 1 Turn the phone off step 2 with the phone plug into the computer and iTunes on,hold the power and home button for 10 seconds. After 10 seconds release the power button but keep the home button down. After about 7-10 seconds iTunes should tell you that you have an iPhone in restore mode. From there you'll be able to restore your iPhone and get back into it. Then restore your back up into it if you have it.

When you forget your password to your iPhone there is not a way to get your password back. The only option is the flash the phone and restore to factory default settings. You can do this by connecting the iPhone to your iTunes and selecting "Restore" You will lose all information, but hopefully you performed a sync recently and can put it back on the phone after flashing it.

If you plug your phone into the computer and it tells you that its locked, put the phone into DFU mode http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=1034
And restore it from there.
It took me 3 times to actually get it into DFU mode so it may take a couple of tries.

our son he was on the iphone 3G and he changed the passcode and he forgot what he preesed and how would i get my old passcode back?
