How old is the printer? If it's an older one it won't see larger size cards. Check the owners manual to see what size cards it can read.

Msdc read sector donot read memory card solution

Hi

For cards like san disk you have to unlock and remove the password in the drive that is denying user access. And then you have to use a recovery tool to recover back photos from sandisk SD card. A Tool that worked for me more effectively is..

How to delete photos

Put the card into the appropriate slot if you have a media card reader on your computer or get a SD to usb adapter for about $5. Open "Computer" the card should be detected as a drive. Browse to the media, might be in a folder called DCIM. Select photos and hit delete.

My smaller memory cards work, but my 4gb card says media error in my brother printer/scanner when I put it into the usb port (photo capture). Tried it dozens of time, doesn't work, but I was able to read...

Many older system will only support standard SD cards up to 2GB and HD SD cards will go above 2GB. It is a limitation of the printer and not an error with the card.

Printer won't work because I plugged into it a SanDisk.

I was told to unplug it, since the printer would not respond. That worked! It reset itself when I plugged it back in and turned it on. Thank you.
