My tempur-pedic remote control doesn't work. I tried both suggestions to reset it but it still doesn't work. I unplugged the black box, took the batteries out, plugged it back into the outlet and replaced with new batteries. Then I held the #1 and off button together for 7 seconds but still nothing happens. Is there anything else I can try or how do I get it fixed?

I hat the same problem with my Ergo Premier remote... I called the customer service at Tempurpedic, and the lady told me to push de FLAT button and hold it for 35 seconds. As simple as that.

It is soon written RST on the screen... and it flashes...

After 35 seconds, you can release it. The RST will disappear.

And then it worked for me... The remote was functioning!

We have a Tempur-pedic. Each side is controlled by its own remote. It also has battery backup for each side (head and foot) in case the power goes out. We simply push a little button on the battery controlled box on whichever side needs lowered. It works to lower them, but they cannot be raised in a power outage. If you don't have something like that, or a manual crank or something, I suggest you call the company and ask THEM what to do. If it's stuck with the power still on, then even more reason to call the company.
