I need to know how install the printer? i have a problem I´ve installed but it´s not working

nope it's that way for security hate to tell you but formatting drive is option unless you can install to another partition but then no password

There are no official drivers for CanoScan Lide 30 for Windows XP, so your problem is obvious. I suggest you sending an e-mail at Canon including details about your scanner (date purchased, serial number in text form or scanned) asking them to develop driver set as this model is very trade and at shops since 2006 or 2007.

The operating system would not stop it from powering on.
It should power on even if disconnected from a computer.
You are probably in need of having the powerboard redone. Possibly a failing inverter.
If you know how to take it apart and can get some pictures to me at [email protected] , I may be able to see the problem.

un install the driver from device manager and restart your comp and then check your cd drive if it works fine if not let me know
