How to get my lg neon on touch screen texting

Ok so i might sound really stupid because the lg neon's keypad is for dialing only but yesterday i was like pressing a bunch of buttons on accident and like letters came up on the touch screen and like i pressed the end button to see if it will go back to normal and now i cant get it to get lit to text on the keypad i cant even believe it did it and it was totally by a mistake has this ever happened to anyone? 

You were probably on the contacts and pushed the dial button. thats the only way you would make letters on the touch screen

The lg neon i think is a very strong phone considering that i dropped it in my poolfor lk a minute and it was fully under! my brothers cracked open my phone and dropped it in dry rice and surpriseingly it works 10 times better!this is ,y fourth lg neon because it never would ring when i called people it still doesnt at times... i don't know how to fix that i mean i wouldnt suggest dropping your phone in the pool what i do know is that there is a way to make the lg neon a full touch screen but i have yet to find the code for that so if anyone has any idea what the code please respond back!!! =>

How do i lock my lg neon??? or get it set up ?

The lg neon does not have touchscreen texting it only has touchscreen dialing. you may be thinking of another phone.

The reason you made letters appear on he screen was because you did this...

You clicked on the button that makes the num pad pop up
You clicked the button with the Ab and the magnifying glass.
You clicked a bunch of letters..

You now have a letter touch pad open but you canot text with it. THis is only used to find people on your address list. For example, type Mark and hit the middle button. You will then be in your address list, with Mark selected !
