Where to put the paper? There's a manual that comes with this printer, that clearly shows how to open this up, and add paper. I'd recommend you review that first. You may be thrilled when you find it

My canon copier D420 had a paper jam. can't get the copier to work now.

Try checking the paper path, there might be a broken or loose gear in there, a bent wire or stuck debris. If you done this and all seems ok but the error message keeps flashing, try to do a hard reset. That usually clears off error messages. If nothing happens, you might need to call a technician.

Rpc server is unavailable when installing printer

Hi,
According to the error message, I assume that the spooler service cannot find out the printer on the network.
You may set the startup type of Printer Spooler service to Manual or Delayed Start for a test.
You could go to Customer support- just dial +1(800)243-0051 Toll Free.

On the Zebra it was printing 4x13 labels without a problem. However when I tried to print a 4x6 label it still thought there was 4x13 stock in the printer. I played around with the label format size, even...

I think this is more related to the calibration of the label each time you change the new label size. I use ZM400 and your printer should also have the same setting. Under setting, put the When Head Close setting to Calibration. This will let the calibration perform automatically when ever you load a new label size and close the print head. Well 2 label will be lost every time.

Hi

Did you try to calibrate on the same media what you want to print?

Try to delete any other calibrations stored. And re-calibrate the plotter on the same media or a plain paper.

Out of the blue my printer stopped working. I've checked drivers. Not sure what else to do

Hi

1. Check first the USB cable connection by unplug and plugging it back the USB cable connections and then check the printer icon if it says READY.

2. Check for the printer driver that might be corrupted. Adding again the printer using the add printer wizard will install new printer for your computer. If still the same, try to uninstall and reinstall the printer driver and then re add again the printer and if it prints the test page, then it solves your problem.

3. Check the print spooler service if it locks up. Try this link to restart the print spooler. http://www.fixya.com/support/r8758623-check_fix_print_spooler_service_causes.

I put the paper in the rear tray as instructed to do but it will not print.the paper pulls to the left or the right and that is all that happens.i read the book and everything but i get nothing.

first of all, make sure the type of paper you are using is compatible with your printer. Try different types.

Then make sure you have:

the printer as the default printer
the paper orientation to portrait
the paper type to Auto Select
the tray selection to Automatically Select

If these didn't work, write to me how you added the printer to your computer, ie. Add a Printer wizard manually or automatically plug n play

"Out of Paper" problem

Hi,
i,d suggest the paper sensor that you,ve disabled is suspect.
Alternatively, could be a cabling error.
Try a new printer cable, if this fails uninstall remove completely all software and printer, along with cabling. start computer/shutdown. re setup the whole printer as a new installation. if non of this works. Bin it and buy a new printer.
Finally if you,ve got standard windows 98. upgrade to 98se. might help.

Paper isnt loading correctly

My printer does that too, after many copies have been printed out. There is this mechanism that pushes the paper forward and another to slide one paper in... well it won't get in. I tried to add "grease" at the right side, "facing the printer", of that mechanism that made contact to the rollers which slides a paper in..  well my printer now works fine
