Samsung Digital-Cam SC-D353 NTSC

Hi,

I want to know if this particular model will transfer video to a PC.

Does it have that capability?

What do I need to do to make this happen?

    I have the same problem and am using the same camera. Would appreciate any help you can provide with getting the video to a PC and how to do it.

    when I plugged my camcorder USP port cable into my computer, nothing happened. Do I need to purchase software to enable me to

    view my photos and watch (and ultimately burn to disc) my videos on my computer?

I have mini dv sc-d353 ntsc, an i put a clear and empty memory, and in my display say Memory full!! and i cant record anything, but i recordered two times with the same memory!! please help me

Yes, but you will need software. Virtual Dub is free and will get the job done.

Yes, the SC-D353 will be able to transfer to a PC. I bought Pinnacle Studio (Version 11) for about $39.99 online which is the video editing software that is about the best for the least amount of money. Just remember to have a DVD Burner installed in your PC.

You cannot convert the DV into you PC as the formats are different.
You will need the data in the DV which outputs to be compressed and written. Please find these links to be useful :

Hi i have videos recorded on tape with my samsung digi-cam SC-D353 NTSC. How can i transfer this to my pc? Do I need some kind of special cable? THanks for your help.
mini usb cable also depends on what inputs your camcorder has but most of them have mini usb inputs then use windows movie maker to put it on the computer if you dont know what cable to get then just take it to the store and they will tell you what cable you need

Hi,
Check if it has the firewire port. If so, you can get a 4 pin firewire cable and connect to the PC.
Switch on the Cam.
Open Windows Movie Maker and import video from device.


4 pin firewire would look like this:

You can use the Movie maker to burn it to the Disk

Sc-d353 video transfer from Mini dv to computer
In order to transfer the taped video, the software that came with the camera, has to be installed. Once this is done, plug your camera into the computer, using the USB cord, and it should be recognized, and the software program should kick in and you can then transfer the files. Sometimes you will have to go to the actual drive itself and copy the images over to your folder of choice.

Samsung Digital Cam SCD6040 sound problem
I HAVE A SAMSUNG MINI DV DIGITAL CAMCORDER MODEL SC-D353 NTSC.

THE LCD SCREEN IS NOT DISPLAYING. ONLY A WHITE SCREEN WITH VERTICAL STRIPES.

NO PICTURE DISPLAY IN 'CAMERA' MODE OR 'PLAYER' MODE. BUT THE VIEW FINDER IS WORKING.

DO NOT KNOW WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?

HAS LCD SCREEN GONE BAD. IF SO WHO DO I CONTACT. I LIVE IN SILVER SPRING MARYLAND USA
