Hi,

This machine was made by Whirlpool and the flashing clean light is a common error code for them.
If the clean light is the one flashing then your dishwasher could have a heater circuit problem (depending on the age) or this could simply just be water colder than it is used to getting.
Repeatedly press the Heated Dry and Hi-Temp Wash(scrub) which ever yours has untill all the LED lights come on, press cancel twice and try the dishwasher again making sure to run the water at the kitchen sink till it is hot before starting the dishwasher, if this trips and locks you have a problem with the heating element, or temp sensor.
Press the heated dry button followed by the normal cycle button, and then repeat once. You should see all of the lights come on for a second or two, and then the dishwasher will work again.
If you haven't already, take a look under the kick plate in front to see if there is a schematic tucked in there somewhere. Whirlpool has put their diagnostics for specific models on these.
I don't have the specific repair manual for you model.
So, if the above combination does not work here are two more that have worked for me.
HiTemp Wash + Air Dry + HiTemp Wash + Air Dry in less than 5 sec
or
Hi Temp Scrub/Scour + Air Dry + Hi Temp Scrub/Scour + Air Dry in less than 5 sec

Let me know, if you need further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

My BLACK & DECKER COFFEE MAKER, PURCHASED 2/17/14, THE PALTE IS PEELING OFF. WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP, WARRENTY?

Afraid you may lose this battle. Peeling means you let liquid drip onto the heating element surface without wiping it up. It then boils or burns on the heating element. Enough times and the high acidity of what you may be brewing and the surface cover is gone. If it's under warranty you contact their 1-800 number and see what they say. If you bought it at Walmart, just take it back for replacement or credit.

Heater isnt heating up. It's about 10 years old.

1) Check the circuit breaker.
2) Open cover and see the thermostat and element.
3) Press ECO red reset button to see if it is tripped out. And test top two screws on element to make sure voltage is arriving at thermostat.

4) If water heater is still not working, Next step would be to replace thermostat. Thermostats are generic, and they work for either 120Volt or 240Volt. Buy thermostat at hardware store.

5) Next step would be to replace element, and clean out tank if necessary.

Clean llight blinks, owner manual said to replace

Hi,

The clean light blinking is due to a fault in heating the water, it could be several other things than the heat element. Here is a link to some instructions on how to reset the control so you can use the dishwasher, it also has a list of things that could have caused the not heating situation. Let me know if you have questions.

Clen light goes off and on. Unable to get it

If you push Heated dry<>High temp wash<>Heated dry<>High temp wash  you will reset the control and it will work, but will come back most likely on the next cycle.
Your issue is in the heating circuit Usually the Heating element but also can be the turbidity sensor, you can ohm the heater and see if it's good if so replace the sensor.

My Kenwood Dish washer KDW243A has the Code E3 showing, its working but not heating up the water

If you inspect the heating element at the bottom of the dishwasher, you will probably find damage. Replacing the element is the next step.

Good Luck!

I replaced the heating element, OLD ONE CRACKED STILL NO HEAT

You have to let us know what it is doing, and what it is not doing. Is the new heating element getting red hot? Is the motor running? Did you clean the face of the flame sensor, a little gizmo attached to the firebox?

Light flashing

reset the dishwasher by touching heated dry and normal let it run through that cycle then through a normal cycle got the error blink again. Reset dishwasher by touching heated dry and normal, ran the test cycle, next ran a normal cycle but turned off the heated dry. This allowed the dishwasher to run through a complete cycle did not get the error blink and confirmed that the heating element was out.
