Protron PLTV-32 Television Logo
Anonymous Posted on Jan 07, 2010

A week ago I E-mailed you this queston. I also agreed to pay $12.99 to "Fix ya" for an answer. I'm not satisfied with the answer. My question was that I have a Protron PLTY-3250 flat screen TV. I need to hook up my Sony wireless stereo headphone system (Model MDR-RF970RK)to this TV. I can hook it up to my older GE TV by plugging the red and white cord from the headphone transmitter to the'Audio Out' connection on the TV and the headphones work properly. The only answer I got to this question was a copy of the Sony headphone users manual. I already have that and have tried to follow. But my question was still evaded. Which ports are the 'Audio Output' on the Protron and do I need a special cord/connection to hook up?

The response to your question is in two parts. There should be a couple of RCA jacks on the rear or side of the set labeled "output". These need to be connected to the input of the wireless headset transmitter. The second thig is to determine where the volume is to be controlled. The output from the set can be either Fixed or Variable. This means that teh volume can be controlled by the volume up/down at the set or not. Fixed mode is for connecting to a receiver where the volume is controlled by the receiver and changing the volume at the set will have no effect. Using the variable output mode will allow you to control the level of audio entering the transmitter and thus the volume. This assumes that the headphones do not have a volume control on them.

Setting the output to be either Fixed or Variable is controlled by the audio menu of the set. Please note that in variable mode, any internal speakers would need to be disabled as well.

Hope this helps,
Dan

I went over printers with your firm and was told

I am sorry that you had that expense and was not satisfied with your answer or the product. If you have the transcript you can send a copy of it to [email protected] She can see if you can be refunded depending on information you received. I do believe they have a money back guarantee but I can't say yes or now myself. Not all printers have camera card slots in them. I apoligize for your experince and hope you don't let this stop you from using our site again. She will not answer untill Monday. You can also send a e-mail to [email protected] and they can look into this for you Thanks for your time

Blue patches on my samsung lcd Hd 46 inch rear projection tv all the time seem to be getting worse. What is it and how can I fix, last time it cot me $698 to fix another part.

Uh Oh! blue screen of death. Your light engine has warped a little from overheating and is distorting the picture.

Make sure it is getting good ventilation and the fan filters are clean.

My suggestion to you is to get on the phone with hitachi and start complaining, then keep complaining until they agree to pay for it. You may have to get the problem diagnosed by a pro before they agree to pay for it though.
Hope ya fix it!
