It sounds to me like you may be using this printer through the JetDirect interface and have the printer assigned a different IP address than what the computer is expecting. For example, if the computer is configured to find the printer at 192.168.1.205 and the printer has an address of 192.168.1.120, you will see the "printer offline" message on the computer but the printer is happily "online" according to its point of reference.
Another possibility is that the computer has the printer configured to "offline" mode. To check this, right-click on the printer and see whether there is a check mark next to "Use Printer Offline." If so, click on that option and that will remove the check mark, returning the printer to online status.
The Down Arrow and the View buttons are disabled on the T6050 as default because reverse paper feeding is not recommended on the T6050 printer because they only have one pair of tractors which are mounted above the platen. If the printer tries to reverse feed paper, it could cause a paper jam unless the platen gap is open sufficiently to allow the paper to feed down through the gap unhindered. You can enable reverse paper feeding if you are sure that a paper jam will not occur. This is done as follows. Set the printer to Offline. Press the Mode key: display will show Offline Normal. Press any Arrow key until display shows Offline Oper. Press the Forms/1 key. Press any Arrow key until display shows Oper Forms. Press the CPI/2 key. Press any Arrow key until display shows Forms RevPap. Press the LPI/3 key. Press any Arrow key until display shows RevPap Enabled. Press the Enter key and reverse feeding will be set. Set the printer to Online. Once the reverse paper function has been enabled this option will need to be saved to prevent the setting being lost when the printer is powered off. To save the Menu Configuration; Put the printer OFFLINE Press the MODE button, then press the DOWN ARROW until CONFIG is displayed Press FORMS/1, then press the DOWN ARROW until PRINTER is displayed Press CPI/2, then press the DOWN ARROW until SAVE is displayed Press LPI/3, and with POWERUP shown in the display, press ENTER.
The "Tractor 1 Tear" message is not a error as such, this is an information message showing the printer is set to the front tractor feed (tractor 1) if you press the button directly under "Tear" the printer should move the paper to the tear possition.
If the pritner is not printing I would recomend checking the following;
Ensure the printer is set to "ONLINE" press the button you should see ONLINE TRACTOR 1 TEAR on the display
Ensure the printer is loaded with paper, press the button under "Tear" the printer should move the paper forward if it is loaded into Tractor 1.
If you are not using Tractor 1, ensure you select the paper path you are using within the menu and move the paper selection lever.
Observer the LCD display for any errors that may be seen when print jobs are sent.
Try printing a menu print on the printer this will identify if the printer will print, the menu can be printed in thefollowing way. -Power the printer ON holding down the button, keep the setup button held down whilst the printerinitializes. -When the printer has finished initializing ensure the printer is OFFLINE -Press and release the button to enter the MENU -Press the button under "MENU" on the LCD display -Press the button under "PRINT" on the LCD display
The printer should print a menu settings page, if this prints OK the most likely causes for the problem are;
The computer system is not sending jobs to the printer (check the correct printer is selected on the computer system)
Connectivity problem (check cabling, IP Addresses etc)

You may be able to calibrate the paper out sensor to fix the problem.

You should have seen briefly displayed, Tech Access On The display will again say Offline. Press the Mode Key, display will show Offline Normal. Press either Arrow key until display shows Diag Prnt Cal. Press the LPI/3 key. Press either Arrow key until display shows Pap Out. Press Enter Follow the instructions on the LCD display, which will advise on removing and reinserting the paper.
After you have compleated the calibration place the pritner ONLINE to exit the menu.
And finally turn the printer power off, wait ten seconds and turn the printer power on again.
If the problem still exits you may need to repalce the lower tractors or the main logic board.
Open system properties (my computer --> right click --> properties) go to hardware tab and click device manager. expand the usb controller and see if there are usb printing support, if exist go to control panel --> printer and faxes. right click in your printer icon and select use printer online. if you don't find usb printing support in device manager the problem is with your usb connector. try to change it and make sure the printer power is pugged correctly.
If the printer's display just says "Offline" yuo should push the Sleep button on the front panel and you're done. If the message occurs in the printer driver instead, you could try to disable BiDirectional support in the driver.
