Please ensure that the input settings for your monitor match the input (VGA, DVI, HDMI, etc) you have connected from the monitor to your PC. Also, if you are having memory issues and one of them fail, it could cause your computer to stop booting up, or to show no image while booted up like this. If you feel comfortable doing so, remove the case and take your memory out one at a time, checking the issue with both memory sticks by themselves. If this doesn't work and the input setting seems correct, let me know and we will move forward.

Good Luck,

Jesse

No pic on monitor. connected everything to computer and no picture on the monitor

Please double check, you should have two cables out of the monitor and connected.
1. The power cable to your UPS/ AC switch. 2. display cable connected to the CPU(main box).
Based on the information you gave one or both of these cables are not connected/switched on.
Thanks.

Monitor powering up and down at random

Check monitoc cableing. This might be the cause of cable having loose connection on the back of the monitor. (I mean data cable (VGA) not power cable)
Did you have a chance to check with another monitor? Will picture appear when cable on the back is moved?

Does this happen when you logon to bios screen? REstart PC and keep pressing F2. You will see bios screen - test unit there. If that is ok then everything is fine with the monitor.
Let me know if issue is not solved by checking cable and I will provide you futher troubleshooting steps.
Thanx

No picture on monitor 997M

One reason that this is happening could be that it is on Power saving mode. This happens when the LCD monitor detecs an incorrect timing then thats the time that the LCD goes blank and the power botton starts to blink.

what you need to do is to turn the computer off. Unplug cables attach to the LCD make sure it is also off, once done press the power botton for a couple of 30secs to a minute and then release. After doing so re-connect all the cables and make sure that both ends is tight and secure once everything is ok turn the computer on same with the monitor to check if it solves the problem.

No pic on screen

Double check all of your connections. It appears the video cable is not plugged in completely. Try another monitor if possible to see if the computer is actually outputting video.
