My tv is LF2612D 26"LED TV combo I can't get it out of home and retail mode setting

To get your LF2612D 26" LED TV combo out of home and retail mode, you can try the following steps:
  1. Press the "Menu" button on your remote control to access the TV's settings menu.
  2. Use the arrow keys on your remote control to navigate to the "Setup" or "Installation" option.
  3. Look for an option called "Home/Shop Mode" or "Retail Mode". If you find this option, select it.
  4. Change the setting from "Shop" or "Retail" mode to "Home" mode.
  5. If you cannot find this option, try resetting your TV to factory settings. This can be done through the TV's settings menu or by pressing and holding the power button on the TV for 10 seconds.
  6. If the issue persists, refer to the TV's user manual or contact the manufacturer's customer support for further assistance.

Ihave a insignia ns-lcd47hd-09 tv. when i press the power button the light turns blue but no picture comes on only black screen.

I think your insignia is set for SHOP mode instead of HOME mode. I changed mine to HOME and it's working fine now. Press your menu button and then scroll down to setup. You're looking for Plug and PLay which should be the very first choice. If it's greyed out as mine was you'll have to change your imput from HDMI to TV in order to get to the P&P. Once you're in the Plug and Play your first choice is language. The second should be SHOP or HOME. Make sure to select HOME. You can skip scanning for channels. This fixed my problem with the blue light. The store uses SHOP so if someone plays around and changes something, all they have to do is shut off the TV and turn it back on. Please let me know if this works.

TV will not remember settings Sony Bravia KDL 40S4011

Probably you are in "shop" mode of TV. Try to reset your TV and go through initial setup. Most important - choose "home" instead of "shop" when asked during initial setup. Resetting - keep up arrow pressed and switch of TV. Keep the button pressed when TV automatically switch back on. This will reset TV to factory defaults.

How to remove "in retail store mode with settings" message

Question What should I do if my TV is stuck in Retail mode? Answer Your TV may have been set to Retail Store mode, which is mainly used on the shop floor.
For home use, we recommend that you set the TV to HOME mode, which will allow you to change the settings.
To change to HOME mode follow the steps below.
  1. Press the 'MENU' button on the remote control to access the main menu.
  2. Move the cursor down to select INSTALLATION and move the cursor right.
  3. Move the cursor down to select PREFERENCES and move the cursor right.
  4. Select LOCATION and move the cursor right.
  5. Move the cursor up/down to select HOME and press the 'OK' button for confirmation.
  6. Press the 'MENU' button to exit the menu.

I own a Sony Bravia KDL-32V2000 and whenever I 'tun off' and 'turn back on' I have to re-dedicate the TV i.e go into menus external ouutputs, then scroll down to AV4. Surely there must be a way arouns...

Unfortunately I am still to resolve this problem but due to having recently been made redundant I am not in a 'financial position' to pay for a 'remedy!

Sorry

My Samsung LNT3253H LCD TV has suddenly started changing its own settings (e.g. picture mode keeps switching to ''dynamic'' and the ''light effect'' keeps setting itself to ''always on''). Any thoughts on...

Hi,

Its in "Shop Mode".

Change your source to TV (analogue), now press menu>find "Plug and Play" and select it and runs through the setup and selct "Home" prompted and not "Shop".

That should sort its out, when its in shop mode its doesn't matter how many times you make changes, when you power it off it will go back to the original shop settings, this feature was built in to allow shops the have all show TV's to run at optimal settings and if a customer played about with the settings it would matter as they are reset again when the TV is switched off and the store staff don't have to go around resetting all the TV's at the end of the day.

Thanks
