The phone doesn't work every time I search for network it keep searching and freeze

U need to download an app to freeze it. Search playstore for freeze app. Downloand and freeze the app

Try taking the sim out and doing a factory reset

set device default and try

Go to 'Start > Settings > Connections tab > Wi-Fi > Search for Networks'. You phone's Wi-Fi radio will be automatically turned on, and will search for available wireless networks. If, after a while, no network is found (e.g. the network you are trying to connect is hidden, i.e. doesn't broadcast its SSID), tap 'Menu > Add New...' You'll be prompted to fill in the Network name (SSID), and if the nettwork is hidden and/or ad-hoc (device to device). Tap 'Next', and fill in the authentication and encryption types, and the passphrase (if any). Tap 'Next' again, and fill in addtional data (if needed). Then, tap 'Finish'. Select the network you have just created and tap 'Menu > Turn On Wi-Fi'.
After finished, press 'Ok' as many times as needed to take you to the home screen. Launch IE and check if your internet connection is active.

I can guarantee that, dont waste your time searching for hours.

hi mate, i am having the exact same problem with my x10 m p, ive had it since feb 1st and it keeps freezing about 10 times a day and i have to reformat the SD card aswell (also 16gb) ive tried software updates and factory resets on the phone but nothing stops it, maybe the phone just cant handle 16gb...

If it is continueing to search for a network. Wanna make sure you have the correct simcard for the carrier in your phone. And it is in the phone correctly. Maybe the phone is NOT completely unlocked. If that all works, check your network in the phone.

1. At the main screen, press the Menu key.
2. Scroll to and select Settings.
3. Scroll to and select Network.
4. Scroll to and select Network Setup.
5. Scroll to Type and select Change.
6. Scroll to and select AUTOMATIC

SAVE. Besure once a day to power down the for about 10-20 seconds a day.

you must have a crack in the phone board IC or RF related so take it to a mobile shop to see if that happening.
