In what way would it not work?
You may have a faulty USB port or may be disabled in the system BIOS. Check for USB port functionality first since magic jack uses the USB port.
Get ahold of a flash-drive and see if the flash drive works in the port. You may have a faulty magic jack device if nothing else.

No way!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Use F8 command to get on desk top and then go to user account and get rid of any passwords. Then reboot, and after getting in use the system restore function.
