ASUS P5RD1-VM : while trying to install the LAN drivers I get always the request for ulilan51.sys which can not be found I tried also the uli drivers to install from ASUS but this quite don't solve the problem

    after installing a second 1 GB DDR400 DIMM the performance is decreased, the games run on lower speed

If the lancard is built in to the mainboard then you should install the chipset of the motherboard so that all the hardware can be detected.

The dirver is encloased in you computer from the vendor, you should install that at series so that there is no issue encountered, thanks maynthis help.

Yes..i have the same problem when i tried to connect my printer
the baloon message show that "usb not recognized"
i've tried to install directly from asus driver but it's still not working

First select your operating system 32 or 64 bit next select
others and ULi Chipset Driver
Click on global for download
Unzip the file before installation.

Whenever i connect a SATA hard disk on my ATI Radeon Xpress 200 chipset motherboard and try to install an operatin system it says no hard disk found please solve my problem
The chipset in your motherboard doesn't have in it a controller for the SATA, it uses an external one - ULI M1573. For it to be activated and the disk detected its driver must be already in the install disk. Unfortunately the XP install disk doesn't have any SATA drivers and the ULI driver isn't included in the original Vista disk . ASUS P5RD1-VM raid controller
1. put Motherboard Cd (come with p5rd1vm) in cd/dvd rom.
2. BIOS configur as boot from cdrom.
3. restart machin Motherboard CD boot with press enter
4. command line shows 4 option
5. Select 1st option for exact and proper copy ULi sata driver for winxp.
6. Insert floppy press enter
7.you see d copy procedure.
8.then this floopy insert when winxp setup asking F6 for additional driver.
