ML-2510 I have some pre-printed invitations, about 5,000. I am only printing the date and address on them. Easy job. The first 3,000 went without a hitch. I changed cartridges and now the machine jams every few sheets. Sometimes it will print 20 in a row and sometimes it will only print 2 and then it jams again. Help!

try to use the Generic drivers and not the Samsung ML driver for your model. In the drivers list type in GEN and it'll show up.

This printer has problems with Leopard last updates.

is this the first time you use word ?
if it is any of the newer version 2003, 2007. the printing of envelope is as follow:
open the word, elect tools>>envelopes and labels. type in the delivery address and return address. click add to document.
completed you letter.
whenyou want ot pin the envelope, hig light the delivery address on the document, file, pirnt, type in 0 (zero) in the pages box under the page range (in the middle of the popup, under the "curent page button).

Hi, sorry to hear you are having problems,
OK, first of all, you can stop worrying about solution #3, this printer is a USB or Parallel, there is no networking on this printer so no possibility of an AppleTalk connection.
You say you have downloaded the latest version of the driver from the Samsung website.
And, the Mac is connected DIRECTLY to the printer via USB.... ( It won't work if it's connected to a PC and then shared.. well it might work but I have not been able to make this kind of connection work...)
Well, if this is the case and you are unable to print while the PC prints fine, I expect that it is over the Parallel port or do you plug and un-plug between the Mac and PC...
It might be that the printer needs to reset after switching between the Mac and the PC, Shut off the Printer, I mean really, shut it down, unplug it for 30 seconds then connect it to the Mac and restart the Mac and start up the printer....
If it still does not work, do you have another Mac you can connect to for testing?
Also, the first test should not be FireFox, open the Text Edit app and type ( TEST ) and just print that...

I solved this problem with windows xp but have yet to solve it with windows 7. what worked for me is hooking up the hp print server to my network switch and to the 2510. Then I installed the 2510 driver using the samsung exe and choosing NO when it asked about installing the driver without the the printer attached. The NO choice continues and installs the driver. Then run the HP printer wizard choose drivers on this computer when you get to that spot. Then choose the 2510 driver and finish up. You may now have 2 2510 installations and may need to delete the default one under printers and set the other as default. This worked on 3 different xp machines for me

I had the same problem and spent some time trolling the Net. But....I found it.

Run installer from CD.

Tthen go to system preferences > print and fax

Delete the ml-2510 by clicking the minus square

Click the add square..

Select the ml-2510 again, and make sure that at the bottom of this window, under the "Print Using:" field, you again select the ml-2510.

Click add.

That's it! You're good to go!

I had the same problem and found the solution on the Apple discussion boards. Apparently, OSX 10.4 installs the printer as a Lexmark 510 series, not a Samsung ML-2510.
Just add a new printer and change the type from Lexmark 510 series to ML-2510 series.
Worked a charm for me!
