if its a Kenmore model then this message says that the button control board has lost sight of the main control board , but its been my experience that this maybe able to be reset and it may never come back or it will not reset and the control board will need replaced (50/50)


cycling power may reset this

Hi, the error code F 05 is a Water Temperature Error, could be the ntc water temperature sensor, the heating element or a relay on the main PCB.

The Error F11 is a control harness or motor problem, check all the wiring is secure from the top of the machine right through to the bottom (this could be the fault for both F codes) could also be motor brushes or motor failure.

The F11 error code is a communication failure between the 2 control boards. This includes both boards & the wiring harness as potential defective components. However, this is usually the main machine control board that needs replaced.

F11 is a serial communication error between the central control unit and the motor control unit.
Unplug the machine and open the panels.
Unplug and re-plug all wire connectors from the ccu to the mcu.
Inspect all wires and harnesses for a bad wire.
Could be bad components; ccu or mcu or motor

Communication between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the Motor Control Unit (MCU) cannot be sent correctly.
Potential Causes

• Check Wire Harness connections to the MCU, the motor, and Central Control Unit (CCU)
• Check the Drive system for any worn or failed components
• Check MCU
• Check CCU
• Check Motor
• Check Wire Harness

Replace failed component.(you can find the location of CCU and MCU through the manual)
