yes there is an adapter cable made for this search alpine aux adapter on ebay they run aprox $30 it will plug into cable on back and give you 2 rca inputs to use for ipod and such...
I think the red/white RCA plugs on the back of the CDE-7858 are outputs for the sub-woofer -- they won't work for aux inputs like iPod. According to Alpine dealers, the 7858 will not accept an aux input -- bummer, I had the same desire. R, Jim
